Oh my! It's been almost a week that I have not posted here. I was so busy offline and only had a limited time online. I was just dropping here every now and then and commented but not really written a discussion. There was All Souls Day celebration and I was cooking again with my cousin. This time it was just an afternoon snack at home as the weather was bad to stay and ate there in the cemetery. We prepared 14 small pieces of pizza without oven, made macaroni salad, fried noodles and fruits iced cake for that day. My sister-in-law made small rice cakes. There are still leftover fruits iced cake and we will be eating that tomorrow afternoon. It's weekend again! Have you tried making fruits iced cake before? If you will make this iced cake, what kinds of fruits you will put in it? I wish you a lovely weekend!

I am sorry but I have no idea how this cake is made and which ingredients go inside, so I have no suggestions for the fruits.

@thelme55 I think that papaya goes very well with the cake, for the rest I would add peaches and apricots, because I like them more than mango and pineapple in the cakes.

@thelme55 I love the pineapple alone, but not used in cakes.

@LadyDuck I used peaches and apricots when I made this in Germany. They are also delicious fruits.

I have never tried that kind of fruit cake. It somehow reminds me of ice candy back there.

I see @Raine38. Ice candy is the common snacks during hot season in the Philippines. Thanks.

It looks delicious! I would add blueberries, peaches, nectarines, and kiwi.

That looks so good. At first when I saw the picture I thought they were sweets on top, like Jelly Babies (the sort of thing we would have on it at our house) but fruit is a much healthier option.

No, they were not sweets on top. They were fresh slices of ripe papaya, mango and jackfruits. Ah yes, I added some leftover cherries from the can when I was making cherry cake. Thanks @5thHouse.
