Falling Asleep

It looks like I need to call it a night. I'm just about falling asleep here, and don't want to do that. It's been an unusual day, but one good thing came from it. It looks like my older son and I have reconciled without a formal reconciliation. I asked him to come to Thanksgiving and he is going to do so. So I will have my boys for Thanksgiving. I'm looking forward to it. Other than that, things have been good. But my yawns are getting deeper, so I must leave you for the night and pick up where I left off tomorrow morning. I also plan to get more writing done tomorrow. I'm just about to hit that spot where the action will take off and the word count will go up up up. I hope you all have a good night/day wherever you are and I will see you tomorrow. Thanks for reading.

Good to hear the news about you and your son. I bet it makes this year's Thanksgiving more meaningful. Funny thing that you mentioned about yawning - I just read that yawns actually contribute in making your brain smarter. It serves as some sort of 'jolt' to our brains. Good night!

I'm so glad you're going to have your boys at Thanksgiving. It's always relieving when you can reconcile with a loved one (or when others loved ones reconcile, speaking from experience). I hope you were able to get enough rest! :)

That is good news about your son. Some relationships can be quite volatile and hard to maintain despite the best efforts of both parties.

Yes they can, and that's usually the way it is between my older son and me.

@JudyEv I went looking for it.
I want to thank @jaboUK for the instructions on how to upload this slideshow of my trip to Washington Island, Wisconsin, October 17-20. My friend, Debbie,...

@just4him It's good that you both keep some sort of communication open - and I haven't been able to find your slideshow. Could you give me the title of the post perhaps?
