Microwaved a small pumpkin

It was so hard to cut.
Then I looked at the microwave.
I you can microwave other stuff then surely a whole butternut pumpkin?
It worked a treat so I carried on making pumpkin pie.
I remembered to puncture the skin.
Have you ever microwaved a pumpkin?

Nice to know that this works- and good that you punctured the skin. I'm not sure I would have thought of that. And I've just come in from planting some butternut seedlings. We had a good crop last year.
