My day 11-6-16

Yesterday it felt so good to relax in the morning and not have to get up and do any school work with my son.
At 1 I met a girl in town who bough a few things off me that I had listed for sale on the local facebook sale groups.
It was decent weather so I went and found 6 geocaches in the area. One was near a beautiful waterfall. I only had winter boots on so it was a challenge getting down to view the falls. It was worth it though.
I tried a new recipe last night for dinner. It was a copycat recipe I found on pinterest for Dominoes Cheesy Stuffed Bread. Neither my daughter nor I cared for it.
As I was finishing up the last bite of my food there was a knock at the door.
I girl I know slighlty ran out of gas at the bottom of the hill and wanted to know if I could drive her the mile to town so she could get gas. I was more then happy to help her out. She has 5 children at home. Two of which are twin girls one who was born with down syndrome. They are 12 now. She is pregnant with another set of twins.
After my kids went to bed I laid down on the couch and started reading a book called "Dark Places" by Gillian Flynn.

i'd loved to've gone down to the waterfall myself, but fear that geo schtuff jest aint fer me. good thingy i reckon that'cha were home'n able to help that gal out. wonder what went awry with yer recipe?

@crazyhorseladycx Well keep doing that because everything I have tried by Pillsbury I have not liked! I should have skipped this recipe knowing this was an ingredient... Or used my own bread dough recipe.

Sounds like a pretty good day and glad you got to help out a friend as well. I never copy cat recipes like that its always too tricky for me. Atleast you know not to make it again. I haven't had a chance to read my book in a few days but maybe tonight i will get too when I get home from work.

It is such a relief to have help when we run into troubles. I never ask others for help so I was happy to see she wasn't afraid to ask for my help and I was home and able to give her a ride! A pregnant woman walking along a busy road after dark would be very dangerous.
