I just heard this in a commercial. It is called pseudotumor ceribri or PCT and can be caused by some types of hormones being released into the blood stream. Certain birth control pills can cause this. You can lose your eyesight for periods of time. Most symptoms are headaches and a rushing in the ears. Scary, huh?
