Those of you connected to me on Facebook need to know I have been hacked. It has been reported. I have changed my password.
One friend says my contact info is either Heather Echola 34, or 94 with this hacker.
I did take the time to change the password, and my profile picture and my cover photo.
Has this happened to you?
I have a meeting at church but will be back in a bit.

I have seen quite a lot of Facebook accounts hacked lately. It's kind of worrisome how prevalent it is.

@GardenGerty I was hacked several years ago, but thankfully friends of mine noticed right away and let me know.

With so many of my friends being hacked, I know that the possibility of it happening to me could happen. My friends know that I am not one to start a new account. So I hope that those that don't will ignore such requests to add me if it happens.

After so many I know have been hacked I always investigate before I add someone.

I n lost access, but my friends were getting requests and posts with my name on it that were not me.

If this account were to ever get deleted I would not start a new one. It was a good motivation to update some pictures, though.

Waaahhhh!!!! I hope you reported it already to Facebook management. I know they can easily shut it down. My friend reported theft in FB and in just a minute after she reported it that account has been deactivated by facebook...

Well, I tried letting everyone know, changed the password, and posted this here as well as putting new pictures for cover and profile because i was told that they were using my picture too. One of my connections reported it as soon as he saw it.

@GardenGerty I keep getting friend invites on FB, so I go and dig and the accounts are obv fake, not sure whats going on on FB lately

No but I've seen a few strangers commenting on my pages so I remove them when I see them. Don't know if that helps or not, also a few strange emails that i never open too.

Ditto on the strange e mails. Some of the strangest things that happen to me are "men" requesting my friendship. They often are connected to other friends, but when I ask my real friends they do not know these men.I block them.

It does not seem to have affected much as people even texted my phone and it was stopped quickly.
