Change of Address

We recently moved, and while the thought of being in a new house is so exciting, it is not easy doing all the work that goes with it. And just when you think that you have finally unpacked the last box, you will find out that there are other stuff that fell into the cracks and you have to fix immediately. I am talking about the mail. One way to make sure that you still receive your mail is to file the paperwork at your local post office. I did this online and I think I paid a dollar for the service. I do not know how long they will do this, but of course I made sure that I changed my address on important correspondences – from my work, bank, credit card, utilities, and family and friends. I thought I have everything done, when I find out that I have not made the changes to my health insurance, dental insurance, our union and our retirement board. Thankfully, everything is computerized and all I have to do is make one phone call. I was prepping myself to be put on hold for a long time but I was surprised that everything got taken cared of by just one phone call.

That's exciting! Where to? We just moved to a new house here in town, and even though it's the same town it's still exciting for me somehow. What more if it is in another state, preferably with warmer weather.

Mail is easily overlooked when you move. You're lucky you got it all settled without much trouble
