Time to search presents for Christmas

Near to six weeks for Christmas. I already started to search online for Christmas presents. There, I already found some ideas for my children and my husband. Ebay might be a good option to look for something usefull. Searching on Internet helps to save time and money. This week, I already will buy some gifts to assure that they will come in time. Where and when do you the shopping for your Christmas presents?

I think I may try to get some online shopping done this weekend. I bought one gift some time ago now and haven't bought another thing since. I have to get started because I have a long list of people that I need to buy for.

As more people I have on my list, as earlier I start to buy. Some years ago, I already started to buy presents in July. So I get some of them every month since.

I was able to buy one gift last month for my niece. It was on sale in a mall nearby and thought it was a good deal. I've started to search online shop for gifts like you. We are just waiting for our budget to be able to buy the rest of the gifts.

@Meramar You're lucky your budget came early. Mine will come end of this month. I won't be able to avoid the Christmas rush if I will shop in local stores. I better check more online shops, perhaps I can find nice gifts and it will be delivered to me =)

To get the budget at time is very important. I got it only two days ago, so yesterday I went shopping around and got part of the list of presents I wanted to buy. Hopefully, you'll get yours soon.

@brew2x I usually combine some local stores where the prices are acceptable with online shopping. Before deciding what to buy, I compare items and prices first.

Actually I think the best time is after Christmas, in the month of January. But then, you have to keep the item for practically a whole year before you can give it away as a gift.

It also depends of which kind of gifts do you want to buy. For example, if you buy a book already in January, you may run the risk that the person whom it's for buys that book himself or herself during the year..... So you have to know exactly what you are going to buy....

No , i haven't done any shopping yet . When our 13th month pay will be released on December i will buy some for the two little nieces and 3 grandsons of my sisters. For my parents too and our daughter and my husband .

@Meramar For us , aside from the 13th month pay , the company gives bonus . It's actually more for us officers of the company . Though , it depends if the company got a big profit for the year .

The expenses are growing with our family. There for, you might be lucky to get the 13th month pay. In Spain, we had 14th payout in the year, but it disappeared with the time, as many companies don't pay them anymore.

My husband and I usually start shopping in stores right after Thanksgiving. I get some items from Ebay usually too.

I also usually go online, close to Black Friday or the deals happening that week. My boyfriend is into gaming now so I will probably get him the new PS4 pro or the new Xbox. I have not decided yet. I might also get him that noise cancelling bose headset and the perfume that I know he will love. I know these will be pricey but he deserves the best. He has done so much for me to be where I am at now in life and in my career.

I usually buy the Christmas presents in January, when there are the sales. I keep the present until the next Christmas. I see no reason why to pay more.
