Homework, a question of gender?

During several generations, the society had no doubt about who has to realize the work at home. Women were responsible to clean the home, to cook and washing the clothes or taking care of their children. It was the husbands' responsability to work, so he covered all the expenses. As times changed and women introduced into the work outside home, is she still the only responsible to take care of the homework? Some husbands already started to help at home, too. But, there are still many on them who would not clean for example the bathroom or the plates and cups in the kitchen. What's your opinion or position?

When I lived with girlfriends previously we split the house stuff pretty equally...that's the fairest way I think if two people are going out to work. If one person stays at home then it's fair that they do a larger percentage of the housework.

Of course, it depends of the circumstances.

More and more men are doing housework now, they ave no choice. The ladies are also working outside the home and it wouldn't be fair if they had to come home and do everything themselves.

Exactly, they have to share more.

I think work needs to be shared. if woman doesn't work outside she needs to take care of home. if man doesn't work outside he needs to work at home. simple.
