Getting ready for Singles' Day shopping?

I have been seeing 11.11 Sales online lately, and I have no idea what it is about until my friend told me it's Singles' Day as 1 represents single, and there are 4 1s with 11 November. I am not sure if this "shopping festival" is spread worldwide, as I think it started in China, and the online shops in my country started to have great sale on this day too. Are you buying anything on this Singles' Day?

Same here. I just got to know about this too. I just read that Black Friday is also a day for great sale in US, right? I haven't find out more about that too though I have always seen it online.

In fact I am not so excited to this shopping festival. As I found that the price may not be the best at that day. It is all the selling point from the sellers only. I don't buy it. I still buy whatever I want anytime. I don't have to wait.

this is the first time i have heard of it.. but i am single and happy...so maybe i will treat myself to something.
