I really really really wanted to, in fact I actually had a conversation with the dude at the voting station about it. He is about my age and remembers the shows we had in the late 1960s like Laugh In an how in 1972 we had did not have much in the way of good choices for the presidency I think that is when so many decided it just was not worth the trouble to go vote. Too bad really. Well, I almost did but when it came right down to it I just could not write in Pat Paulsen, I mean who wants a dead guy as president? At least there is a place to write in my own choice. Next time I might just write in someone like Chevy Chase, who would you write in (if you are an American Citizen)?

such aint allowed here'n new mexico - ya gotta go with whome'er they've got'n the ticket. i admit to bein' shocked that 5 folks names were there 's i'd ne'er head 'f the 5th fella. that pickin' the least'f the evils gets harder e'ery time, don't 't? i don't wish 'nother 4 years 'f obama's nonsense, nor do i wish trump's antics which'll surely send's to war with most e'ery country 'cross the globe, didn't know 'nough 'bout that other gal runnin', so went with our ol' 'x governor. not that such did much good i reckon, coz he'd only 9% 'ccordin' to the polls last week. i'm jest glad i did the early votin' thingy coz today i aint made 't out to e'en the back porch.

Today there were only 4 in the running. What riles me is that the electoral vote is what cinches the whole show. I blame that dang thingy for screwin up our country.

@rebelann i think only 47 states allowed him'n the ballet - which i think 'tis wrong 's well. ah, there's much wrong with our government. those electoral votes'n all that other smoke'n dagger schtuff... last i head, mr. trump was leadin' such a fiasco.

It's still with that stupid electoral college to determine who THEY want to vote for @crazyhorseladycx I wish everybody would vote for someone NOT affiliated with those stupid democrats or republicans, they're the ones ruinin our country.
