Time flows slowly in the country.

Every time I come to visit my aunt, I come back relaxed and happy.
It seems that time has stopped and the way people live is the same way they did a generation ago.
My aunt takes her breakfast in bed and then watches the morning TV. Then she gets up and starts to think about lunch. Even lunch is different and I relax while I watch her cutting up beans, something I haven´t done for ages.
We then go to the garden together and she shows me the little plants she has made from cuttings.
We wait for Juanita to come from the beauty shop for lunch. Here, people come home to eat at midday. In Santiago it is impossible due to the distances.
My aunt´s soap operas (several while I was napping) have come to an end. And she just came to invite me for a cup of tea with country scrambled eggs.
So, friends, I´ll tell you more about my country life late.
See you

Nothing like the stressed life where I live. Even the air is cleaner here and my rinitis diappeared in a day.

Sounds like San Fernando. And after tea, we went to the garden with my aunt and sat there talking.

Yes. I napped a lot. There was not much to do and I did not want to bother my aunt while she was watching her soap operas

It seems that this is their daily life. Completly different from the stressful like in Santiago.
