Dreaming cat

I have a lot of cats. One cat I don't mention too often is Prissy. She got named Prissy because I wouldn't let the roomie name her "Pissy." Now, just in the last few years she's got a bit friendlier to the other cats, but she's still pretty unpredictable. She might lick them and she might hit them. So, tonight she was the only cat in the front room with me when I heard her making noises. I looked over and she was sound asleep. But making noises anyway. I've seen the leg jerks, licking motions, but this is the first time I've heard these kinds of noises coming from a sleeping cat.

I have a cat who snores. I worry about him, he is our oldest cat, but he's had a stuffy nose for a while.

@ElicBxn Poor cat, may be they have the same problem as the humans, a stuffy nose or a malfunction make them snore.

@LadyDuck yeah, Taj has a stuffy nose, he also sneezes a lot. I had a friend who had a cat who actually got prescription medicine for his allergies...

I've heard awake cats make lots of noises, but this is the first time I've heard one "griping" in her sleep.

@Jackalyn Some of mine are too, this one in particular, she sounds like she has a lot of Siamese in her, despite not having the markings.

I think cats dream like people do. She was probably making noises in her dream.

I know they dream, like I said, I've seen the paws move and even times when it looks like they are eating, but this was more her fussy sounds. She's a pretty grumpy cat around other cats.

Cats are so adorable even they are sleeping. I think she's having a wonderful dream.

It sounded more like she was having a grumpy dream, it was her fussy sounds she makes when she feels the other cats are bothering her.

@toaqua she's a grumpy girl, she's got attitude on her attitude... or... well, she's a dilute tortie, and blue cats often have bad attitudes on top of her "tortie-tude" so she's just a pretty grumpy gal...
