Falling In A Dream

There have been frequent occassions when I dreamed that I was falling down from a height. When I make the impact(in the dream), I suddenly wake up and find myself in my bed. Have you ever dreamt such a dream?

I think that is a common dream for many people. It happens to me as well!

@Nihil90 I think I usually just try to go back to sleep, if I can.

@MissNikki The dream keeps floating in my head after I wake up, so it takes a while for me before falling asleep.

Yes it is. What is your response when this dream ends?

It's frightening. Have you heard there is a medicine for it too in homeopathy?

At times I wake up aghast. But I mostly find the dream thrilling. It is like you have been teleported to some other world, and when you wake up, you're back to where you were.

Oh, found a new word to search, homeopathy. I'll check it out.

I never dreamed of dying, but I sometimes dream of flying and falling. And then yes, I realize I can't really fall because I'm on the bed. Actually it feels like I fall on the bed, as I can still feel the thrills.

Exactly! I feel like I have just made an impact on the bed. You actually feel the thrill of skydiving, without taking the actual risk

Most of our dreams are often forgotten when we wake up.

I have dreamt that I am falling. I have dreamt that I've tripped and my legs give a great convulsive movement under the blankets.

That same tripping dream reflex of the leg happens with me too! I'm aware of it but I cannot control it.

It is a strange feeling. You feel you have actually fallen after the dream breaks. My body felt that way!

I had the dream too, quite scary too. And your heart is beating so fast when you wake up as if you'd run a mile.

Oh yeah! It scared me when I had the dream in the beginning. I used to wake up, sweating profusely. And that feeling of falling down from an altitude! I can't describe it.

@toaqua I have dreams that cause me to move my body parts- hands and legs- in response to a situation in the dream beyond my conscious control. I become aware that I am moving a body part, but I am too paralyzed to control that.

@Nihil90 It really felt real. But the worst dream I had when I can't move my body. I think that's what they called sleep paralysis.
