I Am A Victim of Harassment…

When I was working overseas, things are getting fine. Not until I had experienced a sexual harassment in that foreign land. At first, I thought it was just a normal gesture from them. The harassment started when this colleague man suddenly hugged me while I am doing supervising in the warehouse. He stood and hugged me so tight from behind. I was totally in shocked and managed to push him away. I am not in my own homeland and things will not be in favor at my side. It takes a year before I decided to go back to my country and during that time, I tried to be in distant with this guy. Now, I realized that man can be harrassed and should have a law to protect them too. Image Credit: pixabay.com

What did he mean by the hug? Did you tell him clearly not to do that again?

Sorry you experienced this. That's why I never dreamed of working abroad. I prefer to plant sweet potatoes at my hometown haha I have a male friend (mechanical engr) who gave up working abroad. I asked him why but he just told me "I could kill people there". I only guessed he was harassed too but didn't want to tell me.

I could already guess what country that is without mentioning, their medieval culture makes it hard for them to find a mate cause you would need a ton of money and assets in order to marry Let's wait for them to come here and do that, the local jail inmates know exactly what to do to perverts like them, I'm sure they will enjoy their stay

@Shavkat if lt's in their country they could easily turn the tables on you especially that their laws there are different, we will have to wait for thst creep to come here where we have the upper hand

You said it right. If I can only report to the authority, but I can't. It would be a big dilemma if ever.

It is a communist country. It is also a slim chance to protect me from them.

That is very scary. I really wish people would realize that men can be harassed too, but no one expects it to happen. I am glad you are trying to keep safe. I am very sorry this happened to you.
