Not a Good Day

Headache, chills, upset stomach and add on that a Packers loss and this day has been a disaster. Ice cream took care of the upset stomach finally. The headache is also finally gone. I've cranked the heat up and turned the heater on in the office to take care of the chills. There's no help for the Packers loss. I don't know how long I'm going to be on. I might just go to bed early and try to get over whatever has taken hold of me. I wanted to get some book work done, since I've had no time yesterday or today to work on it. Yesterday was the Writer's and Author's Fair at the downtown library. It was a great day and I did sell a book, so that was a good thing. However, before that even happened, I got a flat tire and ended up needed a brand new tire. The good news is the tire insurance and warranty I bought when I got the set of new tires back in July. The $160 tire cost me $18.66. So yesterday's disastrous start, turned out good. My good friend came to my rescue so I could get to the Writer's and Author's Fair somewhat on time, and afterwards we went out to eat, and I tried to take home the leftovers since the portion was huge, but left it on the table. I think I'm seeing a pattern here. This weekend just hasn't been a good one, though I did have a book sale. Church was very good. Almost didn't go, glad I did, but with way I'm feeling, should probably have stayed home. I do have a doctor's appointment finally tomorrow to get my medication for my UC and hopefully everything will be straightened out. So anyway, the sun is down. Hopefully I'll feel better soon.
