I have my international post cards all ready to mail tomorrow. I just have to get the proper stamps at the post office tomorrow and they will be on their way.
I’ve got 5 ready to mail. To Japan, Russian Federation, Switzerland, Malaysia and Germany. This will be a NEW experience for me with Postcrossing.com. I’m anxious to see if it really works out. I hope so.
If it does, I will be receiving post cards from different people around the world. That will be so nice, especially since I can share with my grandchildren.
OK I’m going to bed. Now, it’s 11 PM.

I hope it works smoothly. I'm anxious to see how it does work. It seems like a great system, the way they have it arranged, but it depends on the participation of other persons registering the post cards they receive, so I'm a little concerned about that part of it, but I'm willing to do my part.

@IreneVincent Hopefully it will all work out. It has been going a while now so must be working or it would have all floundered in a heap.

Pretty soon there will be lines at the post office with people sending Christmas packages.

Yes, no doubt the post office will be getting busier as the holidays approach.

It looks like the posting cards is working well. Let's see if my postcard arrives some day.. at least I got your postcard, so let's see if Sweden is sending our cards too, even if they might be lost on the way??
My card may be on its way to the North Pole..
I was in hospital for some time, but am back home again.

Oh my! I didn't realize that you were in the hospital. I hope all is well again. I haven't been on myLot very much recently. Just too busy with other things. I had hoped to mail the 5 postcards yesterday, but it was cold and raining most of the day, so I stayed home. I will go today at some point. I have someone coming to look at my jewelry this morning. I'm hoping to sell some of this jewelry.

I think they will enjoy it and will also learn some geography in the process. Being home schooled, they don't actually get a lot of information about geography. It doesn't seem to be that important anymore.
It's not just that way for home schoolers, but even those who go to public school don't learn much about geography, it seems. There have been college students who have been asked questions on a TV program and they have NO IDEA where even BIG cities are on a map.
Some of them can't even show you where they LIVE on a map. It's SAD.

I go to the post office at least once a week, sometimes more than that.

@skysnap What is DHL? I've thought about using a service that the post office provides. I can order what I want online and the postman will bring it to my mailbox. I should try that, I guess. I have a post office box however at the post office, so I have to go there and check my mail anyway. I set that up when I had my jewelry business and I haven't decided to get rid of it yet. I probably should.
