Quite a day, when the job club activity at its heart proved to be almost a sanctuary after the morning’s shenanigans. I posted links to the tarot-inspired story generated at yesterday’s creative writing workshop only to find one lady on Facebook who never actually attended starting to lambast me for even owning something as Satanic and evil as a tarot deck let alone corrupting the minds of other writers by encouraging them to use it to inspire their writing. Her rants grew so intense that the page moderator actually blocked her out in the end. Wild. A lot of fellow writers looked in on the article right here on Mylot though a few found themselves too bombarded by pop-ups and spam-filters to be able to get in. Such a struggle must deter many potential new writers from joining us. I prepared my script for Friday’s non-Satanic talk on pub signs, and bought myself a cheap indoor clothes maiden for drying clothes as the weather outside makes it pointless hanging clothes outside to dry. There is no clothes lines outside in the area that we ;live in. I had a clothes rack that I donated when we moved.

I bought a cheap clothes line and just tied it up in the communal garden area of the flats-block - no one minds

I see absolutely nothing wrong with Taro cards. I've been wanting to learn more about them and get a deck but so far haven't gotten the chance.

@RasmaSandra their imagery is often beautiful and they are a great story telling aid - well worth looking into

Is a maiden the same as an airer? I have never heard it called that before. It's quaint.

I used to dry small items over the oil heaters that seem to be attached to all the walls in every house in the UK. We don't have central heating like that over here so I was quite intrigued with it all. Sorry about the lady and her rant.

wow, yeah, people need to understand what a thing is before judging it evil.
