Im really worried about my little ones weight. Doctor said its ok, but Im not satisfied... She is now 1 year and 1 month but still 8.6kg. But my elder one was 10.5kg at this age. Do you have any idea of any food to gain weight?

If the pediatrician says okay then it's fine cause they know the normal parameters, in a way gender and heredity also plays a part. What is more important is the child is healthy and weight does by no means always translate to health I guess

Every baby develops differently I think. As long as her doctor said it was okay then I wouldn't worry

@amandajay ...it might be for different reason, sometime a child consume right amount of food and it's substitute but even after that he/she not comes up with a healthy physique.Like playing less in outdoor, not gets sound and enough sleep, not come in the touch of healthy atmosphere (air, water, surrounding) etc

I wouldn't worry about their weight if the doctor says it's okay. All my kids were light weights until they were about three years old. I think that's when my daughter finally passed 25 pounds. My kids are all adults with their own kids now. So I don't think you have anything to worry about.

@amandajay If you try to make your children gain weight unnaturally, they might tend to be obese later in life and have a hard time getting weight under control. If your pediatrician says your child is okay, then she is.

There is no need to worry if your Doctor is satisfied. She may just be smaller and that is okay. Everybody is different size so you can't really compare one with the other.

Ask her to eat banana. But once banana changes metabolism, It's hard to reduce the weight gain.
