Got the MRI Results!

I wasn't supposed to get them until Friday but I managed to find out the doctor's office got the report today. My doctor is out of town until Friday but I got her assistant to get one of the other doctors to read the report so he could tell me the results. I don't need any surgery!!!! It's just a bad sprain and no totally torn ligaments. So when my doctor returns, she'll be getting paperwork together for me to be sent to physical therapy. I can also stop using crutches now that we know there is no danger of further tearing any ligaments.

Not yet. I walked a bit today without crutches. I am able to get rid of the crutches now but I got myself a good ankle brace for support for awhile.

Great news, though sometimes sprains seem to take longer to heal than other injuries.
