definite not(USB cant connect the vcc directly), you computer should have a hardware for viedo capture card for doing this.

The usb cord or wire available helps to connect easily the computer to camera and also to transfer. One can use Windows Explorer to copy and paste the photos.

A CMOS-based low-resolution (160 x 120 pixel) color camera's RS-232 serial interface is connected to the SDK's internal serial port. This connection is used to allow the SDK to control the camera and to download raw image data from the camera into the SDK's SRAM. The SDK's external serial port is connected to a PC/Terminal, providing a basic user interface, which allows for user controlled processing.

I think the question was based on using USB and not RS-232 interface.

of course you can use the USB Port but I don't know about the vcc ground. You need digital cable data and driver for the camera.

I guess this is the earliest remaining discussion on MyLot... 6 years old! But for the question, I don't know how to transfer camera pictures from d-camera to a u-controller. I know that you can use an SD-Card to transfer camera pictures. I do it through my Printer, which has an SD Port (for the card) and a USB Port stretching to my PC.

I have a vague idea of what you are talking about. But, mostly what I do is plug in the camera right into the computer with a USB port. I am unfamiliar with microcontrollers and u-controllers, so I can't help you after that.

rameshchow, this is hilarious and I find that admin should have removed this persons's comment as it goes against many guideline violations. Too funny indeed. When a member posts a discussion members either provide some input to be helpful and suggestive. This was very funny indeed and funny that admin did not catch this.. awwhhh..

what is u-controller anyway? as long as i know if the thing you mention has a USB port in it it means you can connect it through USB port or you can check in the manual, usually there's a guide about it
