Robert Frost is an American poet I identify with deeply and whose poems I love to read. These days I am teaching my home school students "Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening". Like the traveler in the poem I love to stand by woods and lakes but like him I am also aware that I have many promises to keep and have miles to go before I sleep. Is there a poet who you think reflects your feelings and thoughts?

Edgar Lee Masters wrote a poem - Silence - that just touched my inner soul the first time I read it.

The poem really resonates with me too. I like our own Banjo Paterson and Adam Lindsay Gordon who wrote mostly about life in the Australian outback.
