Busy Day

Sometimes you just need to be careful what you ask for. This morning in my prayer time, I asked God to take me away from here for a while. It didn't take long. As soon as the sun blinded me, I left to make a return to Wal-Mart. I bought a pair of slippers that were boot type and with my heavy legs I couldn't wear them, so back they went. As soon as I pulled into the parking lot I saw my friend I went to Washington Island with. So we ended up talking and hanging out in Wal-Mart for a while, and she agreed to help me get the recliner home when it arrives at the store on the 28th. I just need some muscle to help bring it in. When I got home, it was still in that time window when I can't work on the computer with the sun in my eyes, but that was okay because my phone rang. My older son needed my help. So I was out the door again. One thing I still needed to make my Thanksgiving come off without a problem was the folding table and chairs. After helping him, he helped me, so we were on our way back to Wal-Mart. I now have the table and four chairs and with the other four I have, will have enough to make a great Thanksgiving. Not next week, but the week after since my youngest is working on Thanksgiving and I'm not making two birds and two full Thanksgiving meals. My oldest will also be bringing his girlfriend and her kids, so there will be six of us for Thanksgiving here at the apartment. It's going to be great. So how was your day? Now I'm ready to interact for the rest of the night. Of course that means I didn't get any writing done again today, but there is always tomorrow. I just took the above picture of the sunset. It's been a beautiful day with temps in the mid to upper 60's. No jacket necessary. However, the wind is starting up and the temps will be dropping as we are expecting some snow overnight.
