Sun had not done any harm to the basil, but snails had found the leaves quite to their taste. So, tomorrow, I will put some snail bite for them. I don´t mind bugs unless they bug ME

! The tomato plants are funny. I planted them all in the same day and some are a lot bigger than the others. The leeks are gorgeous. And the apricots are still unripe and small. At this time of the year I start to look at the apricot tree with worry. Tomorrow night I´ll have to water the veggies again. It is much too hot and dry.

I love leeks there.How do you prepared them.

I use them in several ways. Kale or spinach cream tastes much better with leek. I add them to any soup if -i have it. hen there´s a dish in which we cook several veggies in a broth made with cow´s tail. Leeks taste wonderful there. We eat the broth fist and the vegetabke pieces are the main dish.

@CoralLevang I have to go to the farmer´s market to buy them. At the supermarket they are cosidered delicacies and they price them as such. I love tongue too! I thought all americans did not like tongue and thought that it was dog´s food.

@CoralLevang Lengua is one of my favorite meats. It´s the kind of meat I cook, place it in the fridge and then, every some minutes, go and take a look
