Evolution of TWD characters

The Walking Dead characters are so special and unique and that is why I love the show so much. I think many would agree with me on that one. The show shows how much people can change as result of worlds descending into anarchy. How they will be willing to do things they never thought of doing in a civilized world. How they became stronger and more resistant to the new world. My favorite character transfer is Carol's. She was an innocent little bird living under the shadow of her abusing husband. Then she turned into a tough woman capable of taking down an entire army. My favorite Carol scene was when she invaded Terminus. Now predictions are that Maggie will become the next Carol after losing her husband and probably her baby too. I would love to watch that but still, no one can replace Carol. What about your favorite character's evolution?
