I was watching one of those Hallmark Christmas movies and the ending is very touching. It talks about Christmas and how it is the time that we all come together to be thankful for our blessings. Christmas is a time of rebirth and new starts. Your hometown and your family is where you are validated and valued. Christmas brings people together to appreciate these things. It's also a time to start over and begin a new year.
I am a bah humbug sort of gal now days but, this movie reminded me that this time of year is more than just buying gifts and spending the hard earned dollar. It's what I wrote above. I hope I don't lose that.

@jstory07 .....It's amazing. I am much happier doing my shopping online. Maybe put some of those rude people out of work. Bad, huh?
