Getting my iPhone checked later

So I have to go to the repair shop in the mall to see why my charger port is acting up. Certain cords work but I am wondering if it is the cord. I tried 3 and they don't really connect. I even cleaned out the charging port a few different ways and nothing. The only charging cord that works is my super short one for my portable charger. I just don't get it. I might have to buy a new charging port or a new cord. I will find out later tonight when I go to the repair shop. Hopefully it is super cheap or an easy fix. We will see. I will let everyone know later whats up.

Do you use the Apple cord for charging?
Sometimes if you use generic ones - they don't last long (the cords)

I am starting to wonder about that now. Only my 6 inch cord works but none of the others

I'll be interested in hearing exactly what the problem is now. I'm certainly hoping its the cheaper solution.
