I Had My Pellet Stove on All Night 11-21-2016 It was really COLD last night when I went to bed. I had my pellet stove on and decided to let it run all night. I love my stove. It’s so simple to operate and it warms up the house quickly and makes it nice and cozy. It has warmed up a bit this morning so I turned it off, but I will probably turn it back on this evening after the sun sets. Our nights are going to be cold from now on as we move into winter. So, I got in a good supply of pellets. The pellets are in the garage and my grandson brings them in as needed. The pellet stove burns clean and there is very little ash. All I have to do is fill the hopper with pellets and push the button to turn it on and from time to time remove the ash. It’s an easy way to add warmth to the house and save on the electric bill. The pellets are not that expensive. My oldest son and his wife are coming up from North Carolina this week-end for a visit. I hope the weather cooperates with their plans. They want me to make some pumpkin pies, so I will be busy with that. I still have my jewelry set up in the living room but I may take it down for the weekend because there is very little room left with three long tables set up in the middle of the living room. My daughter said she would help me take them down and put them back up after the weekend, so I guess I will do that. Sales have been slow, but I didn’t expect a lot. I really haven’t had time to contact everyone, so I will do that after the weekend and things should improve. I don’t want to contact anyone now, since I’m going to take down the display.

Sounds like you have a nice weekend planned. It is always nice when adult children come for a visit. I hope you enjoy your time together. My sister has a pellet stove and loves it too. It makes great heat especially on the chilly nights that we are getting now and will have for some months to come. Have a great day!

Yes, so you know about pellet stoves. A lot of people who visit us have never seen one before and are surprised at how easy they work. I'm hoping we have a very nice weekend.

@IreneVincent I didn't really know much about them until my sister got theirs. I was quite impressed with how well they heated the place. I am sure your weekend will be great!

I was going to swap our sheets for cotton ones but it's been a bit cool here so the flannelette ones have gone back on for another week. The days have been lovely and warm though.
