Our Present For The Holidays

Recently something LARGE happened between my granddaughter and her significant other and the father of her youngest. I don't know for sure what it was. She told me they had a big fight but that was about all. I think he must have hit her or been unfaithful for she says she hates him now and just is trying to be civil for the little one's sake. Though admirable I wonder how that is going to go. She then went off the grid for a long time. Then she was back on FB and was on there night and day. She would never answer the phone or answer my messages to her on FB. I felt that was okay. At least we knew she was alright/ alive. So, we hadn't seen her for a couple of months. Yesterday she came over with the little one. We had a delightful visit. He just had a birthday and is a year old as of November 19th. A cute little guy with blonde hair and brown eyes. He is teething and so he was not a real happy kid. Poor baby! She came again today and is invited tomorrow. I feel like we have gotten our gift for the holidays.
