Just Lost My First Discussion in a Very Long Time

I just wrote a post about Thanksgiving and lost the whole thing. Kit and kaboodle. I tried to hit discuss to find it again and it took me to one of those pages that say: 'the page you're looking for doesn't exist read one of these'. I then went forward on my browser and it wanted me to re login in, but even though it took my login credentials it wouldn't keep me logged in. Lovely.
I finally had to back it up to this page that I was one before starting a discussion and begin fresh. I'm in the process of getting ready to head to my brothers to celebrate the day, so I'm not sure how soon I'll try to redo the lost discussion.
Just found it. I should have looked before writing this one, for once I thought of doing so and went to my profile it was there after all even though when I pressed submit it took me to a different screen.

@MarshaMusselman Sorry, I thought that you posted the discussion and it disappeared. It is weird that you were logged out and unable to log in.

It wasn't' that it was deleted after it posted, Anna, but that it didn't look like it posted at all after I submitted it. Rather than taking me to the page showing that it posted like it normally does it took me to one of those redirect pages. And then it logged me out and I couldn't log back in. When I hit the Discuss button again like you do when losing something here, it didn't' come back. So, I thought it was lost. But somehow it did make it through to submission before I got sent to the other page.
The main part of the post was about foodand it's still up.It's not deleted or lost after all.

I thought it was gone completely, but it did make it through before I got redirected to another page. I just didn't realize it right away. Actually, I mentioned that fact at the end of this post before you read it.

Yes, it is. There is a way that will usually bring it back, but for me this time it wasn't working. I figure that's because it did indeed make it onto the page, that my submit did go through after all. I just didn't look until after starting this post, but I amended it at the bottom.
