Someone, out in motoring land, is not very happy. I guess this car has been parked up for fair while and has been causing irritation. You can check online and see if a car has been taxed and insured. If it isn't, then local councils can tow them away and ours is really good at whisking these delinquent vehicles off the street. Unfortunately, this car is sat on a private car park, so the council can't do a thing and that may account for the peevishness that lead to this little paint job on the rear window.

From other comments, I am wondering if the car wasn't stolen and then abandoned there. That may account for it

I wonder if the car was stolen and then abandoned there, so informing the police is always a good idea. We can have a car moved from a private property.

@Ronrybs It is so common in Italy to see cars parked on private space and to discover that they are stolen cars. The best usually is to call the insurance, they are better than the police to find the owner.

@Ronrybs oh my! I hadn't thought of that! But if the people who own the property saw a car there that didn't belong to them, I'm sure they would have called the police. At least, that's what I would do!

Yes, it is a bit of an eyesore, but if it is designated parking I can see why someone has gotten worked up
