I hate the fact that so many beauty companies still get away with testing on animals, it should be banned by now

I don't like it when animals suffer either. One way you can fight this is, well, not buy cosmetics. How do you feel about animals testing in medical capacity?

A lot of times @msiduri , the animal organs are 'not' the same as the human ones. Even shampoos are used on animals in testing. They pour the soap into the eyes of the animal to see the results if it would be harmful to the human. An animals eyes (particularly rabbits) are not the same as the human eye.

@nanette64 I'm aware of this. My point was that sometimes things are not so black and white.

It should be banned. I don't buy anything tested on animals. There's no need for it.

Sometimes all that label means is that that manufacturer didn't test it on animals. But I try to buy things that have not "Not Tested on Animals" label as well. I also routinely buy products w/out dyes and scents—laundry detergents, hand soaps and so on. I don't use food coloring. Outside of a few occasions (my wedding, for example) I don't buy or wear make-up. I don't dye my hair so it's brown and various shades of gray turning white.

I read a lot about this and it makes me really sad.

I think so. We have plenty of pedophiles and child murderers in jail...we can test things on them instead.

yes it might be stop if it is harming them. AS they are also living beings and have right to live safely. Hope govt takes some measure to solve the situations.
