Time to decorate the Church!

Tomorrow night is our monthly Ladies' Aid where the women in the church meet to fellowship, discuss up-coming activities, etc. Most of the time we have some yummy refreshments, although that depends on whose turn it is.
After the meeting, we plan to decorate the church for Christmas. My husband usually puts up the tree ahead of time so we can all decorate it.
Our church has a float in the local Christmas parade, our program/play is coming up, and we'll have a party in the Fellowship Hall at some point.
If we ever get through remodeling our kitchen, I want to put up our tree. I really need to get some shopping done too. Oh dear, I'm stressing out, but everything will get done, one way or another. After all, we survived having sandwiches for Thanksgiving!

@Tina30219 Sometimes it's great, other times it's trying.

We really did have a great time decorating the church. There was a sweet spirit. Had some yummy refreshments...ham biscuits, sausage balls, coconut tarts, and Christmas candy.
My husband said he'd get the tree out soon, but I like your idea of a live tree. Trouble is, I am slightly allergect to live greenery.

I hope you have fun decorating the tree! Do you get to help build/decorate the float for the Christmas parade? I think building parade floats is so much fun!

I've learned over the years that some things aren't as necessary as I thought they were!

They really are, I just don't have the energy I had years ago. I think it's called getting old. Well, maybe just older. Anyway, lots to thank God for!

Most years everything manages to get done, but it's not the end of the world if it doesn't.

Aw, non-traditional Thanksgiving meal is alright, too. I hope your kitchen gets done soon. That ladies' Aid sounds like fun
