Sherri Papini was found before dawn on Thanksgiving along the highway 150 miles from Redding. She was abducted on November, 2nd while jogging. She was spotted by a motorist who called police. She had a bag over her head, chain wrapped around her waist which were attached to her hands.
Authorities are looking for two Hispanic women driving a dark SUV and yielding a handgun. They are allegedly the ones who dumped Papini on the highway that morning.
She was treated and released from the hospital and is spending her days with family.
Sherri Papini had been beaten, burned and had chain marks on her body. Only 87 pounds she had a broken nose, red rashes, some undisclosed message was burned into her body and her long blonde hair had been chopped off. One story says she was bound and kept in the car at all times during her capture.
During the search for Papini her husband, Keith, under went a lie detector test and passed it. He was found to have been at work at the time of abduction.
The Shasta County Sheriff's office are doing a complete investigation. They are checking past relationships, looking through her computer records, and probing past relationships. There have been at least 20 search warrants filed in the courts on this case.
Not much new info. Police are very closed mouthed about the entire affair. Her husband has been a little more forthcoming.

they would have watched and looked into her family, and as much happened to her during that time, if the hubby had anything to do with it, I am sure it was found. odd that she pegged women, I assumed men had her.

I had a feeling it was a woman or more women. Most men don't chopped off the hair. She had lovely long blonde hair. I can see where Hispanic women might be jealous of that. She didn't actually 'peg' them as women. There were witnesses who saw the women in a dark SUV at the time the woman was found.

@celticeagle true, the men would want it as a handle or something. Very odd it was women, that's not normal type of crime for females

What a frightening and nearly deadly experience that was. I hope that she recovers from the trauma.
