The most alien of all aliens, the Vorlon Ambassador to the Babylon Five space station is incredibly weird and extremely dark in behaviour, intrigue and ultimately even in the very purpose behind his action.
Kosh talks in cryptic riddles, that often prove to be mystical and prophetic.
Kosh is mostly seen initially in a shell casing. Later he is envisaged by many as an angel, when he saves Sheridan’s life, but Vorlons are not angels.
We discover that they are an ancient race in an epic battle with rival entities, The Shadows, which has involved both races manipulating people and other planetary species to further their own battle agendas over millennia. The extent of this becomes clear in the episode, Comes An Inquisitor in which Kosh brings in an ally to help train Sheridan up for the coming final battle against the Shadows. Tortured, humiliated and degraded, Sheridan learns that the Inquisitor, Sebastian, is no less than Jack The Ripper, who is merely a Vorlon pawn.
After Kosh is apparently killed off, a new Vorlon Ambassador turns up, and insists on also being called Kosh, but he is an outright villain. Fortunately, the original Kosh survives enough to help get rid of him.
The Vorlon-Shadow war is ended late in season four when Sheridan banishes both species from the galaxy. Their absence helped render season five rather devoid of darkness.

I don't get into those type of shows much, however, I must admit I do like Game of Thrones. I don't get to see it on a regular basis however, as I don't have HBO.
