His Wild Hair Has Been Tamed

I am talking about the huge mountain of curls that were covering my son's head. Today we took him to the barber shop with my in laws to get his hair under control. I had his hair cut to half length and it will be much more manageable now. Usually when my son would get taken to get his hair cut he would get so upset and barely keep still for more than 2 seconds at a time. I managed to get him to be still the entire time by giving him a lollipop and letting him watch videos on my phone as the woman cut his hair. It wasn't until towards the end when she grabbed the electric clippers that my son started passing out and refusing to stay still cause he is afraid of it. We ended up just giving up and letting him go because there was only one or 2 places that needed trimming but with the way his hair curls it is hardly noticeable. How often do you go for hair cuts? What do you usually ask for? Ever see a kid fight for his life trying to get out of the seat before a hair cut?
