Winter Weather Advisory

We have a winter weather advisory until 9 PM tonight with accumulation around 3 inches.
My favorite part of any snowy football game is the sliding that takes place on the field. The players had some good slides as they caught or didn't catch the football.
I promised you a good winter scene. You can't really see the snowflakes at this time of day, but you can tell by how white it is out there that it is snowing. That isn't fog. Another great thing about snow is how dressed up the trees get in a storm like this. They look beautiful all dressed up in their winter white finery.
Now we have a winter wonderland out there, and now it feels like December and the Christmas season. All the lawn decorations won't look out of place now with snow all around them and on them, instead of the green lawns that look like we're decorating for a green Christmas. As long as the temps hold and we get a little more snow, we should have a beautiful White Christmas.
Oh and the Packers won 21-13 over the Huston Texans. I need to watch the game again - I put it on record when I started feeling like I was falling asleep. I did see all the key plays, but I missed the in between plays. Call it my turkey leftovers. Everybody knows you take a nap after eating turkey dinner.
So how has your day been today? Thanks for reading

I watched the game too @just4him . What always amazes me is that even with the snow falling as hard as it was, the players have bare arms. I'd be freezing my butt off.

@just4him That's definitely one way to get prepared for the game.

@nanette64 I'm sure he did. However the Texan player who ran bare chested on the sideline before the game didn't. He was probably just 'warming' up to the weather.

My husband was happy with the outcome of the game that he followed today.
I took a nice long walk and puttered around the house.
I have a roast in the oven that is starting to smell heavenly-just perfect for a cold evening such as this one.
I hope that you don't get too much snow, but you're right, it is pretty.

Yes it does. Unfortunately they only wear their finery for one day it seems. Until the next snowstorm. I am very happy.

Stay safe during the storm. We are currently getting a rain/snow mix here it's freezing outside. Have a wonderful evening.
