Welp, I was originally behind on my Christmas cards, but I finally got them done. I bought the cards on Black Friday, and I finished filling them out that night. I just had to put the finishing touches on some, but they have been ready to go for a bit now. I also had to wait until one of the gifts I was sending out was ready to go. I don’t know why my niece walked to the post office yesterday; it was cold and rainy….and today it was sunny. Wow lol. Oh well, I think I just wanted to get them sent already. So my pals should (hopefully) start receiving them soon. I received my first card of the season today; an adorable dog-shaped card from a friend in the UK. I love dogs and I love the card. :D Okay, this was short, but I need to get back to work. I may actually be finished with everything rather soon. You all take care and I’ll be back at some point. I finally sent off my last two cards to family members yesterday. Had to message them on FB for their addresses.

Gotcha. Yeah I usually try to get addresses in advance because some people take forever to get back to me. I'm glad you got them mailed off!

@tammys85 So am I. That's one thing I can cross off my Christmas list of things to do.

@just4him Definitely! I have two more left; one will be mailed out when my sister sends her cards, and the other I'm giving to a friend in person.

I purchased our cards last week and just penned salutations in the cards and wrote our return address to the envelopes. Now to add the address of the ones that will receive them. So,on that note, I am signing off MyLot. Have a great evening!

I hope your Christmas cards will be arrived to the destination in time. Of course it is better that they can arrive before Christmas I don't send Christmas cards anymore. I like to send Ecards since I will not be afraid of being late. And it is environmental

We enjoy sending them, since it's not often we get mail like that anymore. I'm thinking I sent them just in time, so everyone will get them in time. If not, they'll understand the belated cards lol. Thanks!

Thanks for reminding me to do my cards! I don't do many anymore and I don't receive any at all. I used to love to get the cards in the mail and hang them up where I could enjoy them. Now people don't send them, they send those stupid e-cards. Well, I can't hang e-cards on my wall (can't afford a printer) or look at them years later as I like to do. I wish mailing cards would become popular again!

I think a lot of people still send them, and it doesn't bother me if they wanna do e-cards, it's just a matter of preference. I do prefer to actually mail mine because it's fun to do. :) And you're welcome, I hope you get them done soon! :)

Soon we are going to receive our Christmas card, people always way the first week of December to send them in. Nobody wants to receive a Christmas card in November.

I always send them out either the last few days of November or early December. I have friends all over, and some I exchange actual gifts with, so I need to ensure they receive them on time. :)
