What happened to my eyes?

When I woke up this morning and looked in the mirror, I noticed that there was a bright red patch on the white part of my eye. I felt scared upon discovering it. This is the first time I got that red patch in my eye. Have you experienced such incident?

Sounds like you have pink eye. Highly contagious. You should have it looked at to make certain it isn't.

I am glad it is not sore eyes. The red patch is slowly diminishing. I think it will be okay soon.

@annierose Isn't it a blood clot? Or maybe you just need to rest your eyes..

Yes, I am okay. thanks for asking. I think it is nothing serious. I also research on it and it says it will be gone soon. As long as it does not hurt, it is okay. It is slowly disappearing now.

It happened in the past. If it's only a minor irritation it will go away all alone in a few days. If you feel that your eye burns, or it is sticky in the morning, go to see a doctor, it could be conjunctivitis.

Usually it will not be a serious problem, although I am not sure what's wrong with your eyes. You can try to use some eyedrops and wait for a day and most of the time it will be gone.

I have a brown pigment patch on my eye but never red. It does not hurt so I just ignore it. Maybe you should see a doctor it may indicate something
