Busyness at Christmas...note to self: SLOW DOWN!

In spite of spending every moment helping my husband with the new kitchen, I've managed to buy a few Christmas gifts.
The grown kids like gift cards so that makes shopping easier. Even the 7 and 13 year old grandsons like gift cards. I still give them something personal also.
I really have no clue what to buy my husband. We're not wealthy, but we're blessed to have most of what we need.
The best part of Christmas will be when all the kids and grandkids come home. It will be a short visit for our daughter and her family because they plan to move into their new house a few days before Christmas. Hopefully they will be here Christmas Eve for our dinner, then will head back to SC Christmas afternoon.
Just found out the 13 year old will get to be in the program at church after all. He'll be the angel Gabriel and I'll sing two songs.
A busy time of year, but much to praise God for. I've learned over the years to cut back on the busyness of the holiday and enjoy God's blessings. Merry Christmas, my myLot friends!

You're right, but over the years as the kids have grown up, I've cut back on some activities.
