Don't mind me, I'm crabby...

Yep, I'm in a crabby mood.. so if any of my responses today seemed rude or snappy or condescending.. it's just because I'm personally in a crabby mood. Too much stress with everything going on. We got my tire fixed... actually I had to get a new tire because it wasn't repairable. But the other tires were practically new so I only had to buy 1... which seems odd to me but that's what the mechanic said.. Still it cost a pretty penny to buy 1 brand new tire unexpectedly when finances were already tight. We have to come up with hubby's registration money before next week, and finish paying the bills.. and some of them are a bit higher this month due to the cold weather being upon us.. Then we have to worry about what is going to happen with my son's car.. we'll have a deductible to pay, and the insurance will probably go through the roof.. and my son doesn't have the money to cover all these additional expenses, but the car is in our name so we have to fix it and keep paying for it... Well, I know in the end it will all work out and everything will be okay.. and someday money won't be quite so tight anymore... actually this isn't even the tightest it's ever been.. we've been in much harsher situations than this in the past.. but it's been so long I forgot what it felt like. So I'm just a bit crabby and stressed... but I'll get over it and everything will be okay again soon!

Some days reading posts makes me feel snarky and crabby. I try to reign it in, but every now and again the leash slips.

I'm pretty sure we can all relate - we all have those crabby moments every now and then! With all that's going on top of the holidays, it can be overwhelming. But like you said, you know in the end things will work out . . . just gotta hang in there in the meantime. Hope all will be ok for you guys very soon!

@much2say Ours has been done since Thanksgiving weekend... I'm still working on a few odds and ends, like the gifts for the kids friends and a couple stocking stuffers... but the bulk of it has been done for a couple weeks.

@katsmeow1213 That's one thing off the checklist - and every bit helps! I got a big bulk of it done this morning . . . I'm almost there . . .

@katsmeow1213 Well, yes that is true too. At least if you are broke that is.

Yep we have all been there. It will pass. You will be alright. The fact that you admit that you are not in a good mood is really an asset.

I know how you feel, the older you get and then older your children get, the easier it gets, Once those children move out and have lives of their own, the stress of paying their bills are mostly over. Every once in a while our youngest spends more than he makes and phones for help... The two older make more money than we do (but we are retired and invested well) Relax, it gets better the older you get...

The one that's causing all the stress is grown and moved out! My coworkers keep asking me why I'm still doing so much for him.. and then they go on and on about how they had to always figure things out for themselves. Well.. I'm a caring mother. I'm not going to get him out of every bind.. but I'm going to help him when and where I can.

Being stressed about finances always made me crabby too. Sometimes bills just seem to keep piling up.

theres a internet rule that i like to follow- " never internet while drunk ! " i think it can also apply to crabby moods.

I can understand why you would feel crabby. When money is tight things always seem to go wrong to add to the stress. Like they say it never rains unless it pours. I hope things are improving for you and your family soon.
