Today was a two hour delay for my daughter so before my son started cyber school I went out and shoveled a path down the driveway for my daughter. Cyber school today was fairly fast as there was one less online class then usual. The one thing that was interesting to learn about was in history we learned about Gristmills in Pennsylvania. There is an old one near me that I never realized until today what it was! I got a call today from my mother telling me that my father was in the hospital again due to Tachycardia. He was simply sweeping the snow off his sidewalk when it happened. What they are going to do soon is go in his veins and blast them out to stop this from happening. He was released from the hospital and has an appointment with a specialist tomorrow. The new tablet I won arrived today. I was shocked how fast it arrived. I opened it up and looked at it and it is really nice. I hope to have time soon to get it set up and try it out. I managed to cut my sons hair today and fix a string on an old painting and got that hung back up after months of it being on my to do list. Another thing I checked off my to do list was getting rid of a big old chunky computer monitor. Best buy will take most electronics to recycle for free but for computer monitors they charge $25. I called my garbage pickup company and asked how much it would cost me to put it out tonight for the garbage men to pick up. She told me just to put a $3 sticker on it and it would be fine. Wow talk about a great price! I am tired out and going to go shower and get to bed. No time for reading tonight. I will check my notifications in the morning and reply to them tomorrow when I have time.

Both of my kids want it but it is way to fragile for them whom drop everything. My daughter already has one she loves. I thought originally I won a polaroid camera that I was going to give her but I was wrong on what I won.

I hope your dad has a speedy recovery & your tablet is looking pretty =) There are free recycle held at high schools and other places in my community, they don't charge except $5 to shred paper.

Wow that is great that the schools allow things to be recycled there. Is it all the time or just certain days in the year? I wish ours did it. Even if it was once a year that would be very helpful!

You certainly had lots of new to share with us. I hope your dad will feel like a new man after the procedure.

Some surplus items can be very hard to get rid of, can't they?

My kids actually did go there with me. A friend and I took photos outside it quite a few years back. We can't tour it is just an old abandoned building now.
