I can´t go to bed yet although I´m really tired.
But I have the third batch of jam on the stove and I want to at least half cook it. If I don´t, it could ferment as I already added the sugar.
Meanwhile, I have been mylotting, I ran the dishwasher with the jam jars and I made yoghourt. I love it with apricot jam and I will leave the best I make to eat at home here.
It´s almost midnight. I´ll go watch the pots with my fingers crossed.
And I´ll say goodnight to you. See you tomorrow and have sweet dreams.

Happy cooking! I have never made homemade yogurt. I have made jams though.

I have a yogurt maker. You buy plain yogurt and put a teaspoon into everyone of the jars. Then add milk and stir. The machine is an electric devise that heats this during the night. Now the yogurts are already in the fridge.
Sometimes the answers are wrong, but they are there

Hope it all turns out good for ya. Your yogurt and jam sounds so good. I just finished breakfast now going to take care of laundry and start another load before taking my shower.

@marguicha I used to make cakes for myself and then offer them to people I work with but not everybody would accept it as they are scared of getting fat!

@bluemoonpavilion I´m only scared that the jam I took last weekend to Lili´s for her grandchildren can be stolen by her husband who has diabetes.
I will go and buy some fructose tomorrow to make some apricot jam for diabetics.

I make yoghurt when I have jam. But I don´t do it all the time. My youngest daughter who has a big family does a batch of 12 jars every day.

I have 5 big ones (1 kilo, around 2 pounds). They are Christmas presents. Then I have 2 medium size for my aunts. And finally I have 3 (and need a lot more) of small size ones for me. I have recycled jars for me that were tomato sauce or baby food.
