New Movies in 2017

So I have been watching the Swagbucks app on my phone this morning and I have seen lots of new movies for 2017. New additions to 3 of my favorite movie franchises are on the list.
Underworld : Blood Wars will be in theaters on January 7th.
Resident Evil: The Final Chapter will be in theaters on January 17th.
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales will be in theaters on May 26th.
I love these franchises! I must admit that I was a bit sad that Kiera Knightly is not listed on the actors/actresses lineup for Pirates. That super hunky, Orlando Bloom will be making another appearance, though.
Any movies coming up in 2017 that you want to see?

@mom210 I know that feeling. We only have 3 here at home and it is way too expensive for all of us to go to the movie unless we go to the discount theater. The last time we went there it was too loud and some sort of fight broke out. I would rather stay at home and be safe and sound with my family.

@jstory07 I am the same way. We never go to the theater. I would much rather wait for the movies to come out on dvd. Nothing like sitting at home watching a good movie.

You know, I'm gonna have to count on you for news, because I don't know what's due to come out next year! I am keeping my eye on a movie "in development" that's about Tim Buckley, a favorite musician of mine in the past. However it's been "in development" for a few years now and I am not even sure it will ever be released.

@CinnamonGrl I had to look up Tim Buckley and I found that there was a release of a movie in 2013. The name is "Greetings From Tim Buckley", It was a Tribeca film with limited releases in the states. Are they making another film about him?

@Shellyann36 Nope I do not watch movies very often. I only watched the very first Pirates of the Caribbean movies. The other night I stayed up after my kids went to bed to wrap my sons presents. I watched Netflix while doing so. I chose Fuller House and watched the first 3 episodes. It is so corny. I am suprised it had 3 seasons under its belt already!

@rebelann You are a Selene fan as well? Good to know. Orlando is nice eye candy and I just love the accent. Pirates lost me on 2 and 3 but I did like #4. I am hoping that this one will be ok.

Yeah, I like the kid she's into @Shellyann36 he's kinda nice eye candy too, not as good as Bloom but not bad.
I couldn't get past the first quarter of 2 or 3, they seemed so boring for some reason and almost too stupid to bother with. Let me know what you think of 4, ok?

There were no movies we were interested in seeing during 2017.
We enjoy comedies (some are not ready comedy, but stupidy-we don't like those)

@PainsOnSlate It's quite alright. I find that sometimes when myLot is being slow I hit the comment tag more than once and it posts double for me as well.

@AmbiePam we never go see movies in the theaters. It is far too expensive for our budget. I do like to rent them when they come out at Redbox though.

I like all of them but I probably will only catch Pirates and Star Wars too. It's a pity that Keira Knightley is not in, I love her in Pride & Prejudice too!

@bluemoonpavilion I do hate that Keira Knightley is not going to be in the film. She is a great actress and added so much to the Pirates franchise.

@BelleStarr my oldest son is the same way. He always falls asleep during movies. It does not matter what the plot is, he zones out and then sleeps.

I've not gone to the movies in quite a few years. I'm working on getting out of debt first and then we'll see what fun things we can really afford to do. I'm hoping to see the Martian one of these days, but it looks like we may want to rent it. I read the book last year on my new tablet.

@MarshaMusselman we never go to the theater. I always wait until it comes out at Redbox and then we rent it. Movies are way too expensive.

Never have been a fan of movies I probably see one every few years. I was thinking I should take advantage of the TV and rent some from the library.

@PainsOnSlate Every time I go to the library to see if they have anything we would be interested in most of the shelves are empty of any movies we would watch. Good luck with your search.

@Shellyann36 I live in a small town there are hundreds of movies on the shelves, I usually just get my audio books and forget to look at the movies...but you reminded me so I might just get some

Usually I wait until they're on video. Very rarely is anything important enough to see in theaters. I am looking forward to the Pirates of the Caribbean movie though!

@katsmeow1213 that is for certain. Movie theaters are far too expensive. One movie would be nice for date night if hubby and I could manage it.
