Holy toledo! There was a 3 alarm (that's right - 9 fire trucks - more trucks are around the corner, where you can not see them) fire for a house that is across the street from where I live. I was not able to get a pic when the house was filled with black smoke surrounding the entire area.
Apparently...a propane tank caught on fire, and they were afraid it was going to blow. And since we are surrounded by trees, it would have been a BIG mess, even across the street on my end.
They summoned two ambulances, with stretchers for victims, and JEA is here to cut the electricity. I hope we are not connected to the lines.
I imagine this will be on the news tonight. This family needs your prayers. I know how they feel to lose everything. But around Christmas makes it worse. This will be holiday, that might be a while before they can think pleasant thoughts about again.

That is pretty scary thinking a propane tank could blow and cause more damage to the neighborhood. I feel bad for the people whose house caught on fire and hope they are all okay

Yes it is scary. A blast like that could have set several blocks on fire, and with all the trees... It is just too much to think about what kind of damage that could have caused.

I bet the community will have one of those drives to help them out. I had no idea the alarms stood for how many trucks were needed.
