It seems as though Allan Thicke was a part of my life for such a long time. From his early talk shows to his role on Growing Pains. He was indeed a well versed entertainer, even writing the theme songs for Different Strokes and Facts of life. He is also dad to pop singer Robin Thicke. It is reported that Allan Thicke who is Canadian born, passed away from a heart attack while playing hockey with his son on Tuesday in Los Angeles. Another talented person gone too soon.

I watched growing pains as well . He was also talented in many other areas.

Very sad news, as he has been on television for many years. I have watched him in several shows. He will be missed by many people.
