I Have Never Been To North Dakota / myLot

Well, apparently we are going for the weekend. This will kind of make up for not being able to go to Florida, so we will treat it like a mini holiday. Actually, I was looking at the date, and our 40th anniversary falls somewhere during that time period!! Does anyone know of anywhere in the Fargo area or even just across the Manitoba border that would be a nice place to visit during the holiday season??

There must be a huge difference in the weather between Florida and North Dakota.

Oh, I should think so. Unfortunately, driving to North Dakota instead of Florida is do-able. Florida would have taken us 3 days. :(

I have never been there, but is it one if the places the Ingalls family went? I bet there are settlers museums?

There are, and they're lame. I live in ND. They should just keep going to MN, at least there is some interesting stuff there.

This weekend?!?! I live in Williston, and it is going to be -50 this weekend. I would put it off if I were you! I have family in the Fargo area, and I am sorry to say, that there isn't much to see. If I were you I would get a hotel with a hot tub and hang out in it all weekend :)
