A Post Card from Moscow arrived finally. It is my first post card from my postcrossings.com connection. I was so happy to have received it.
Maybe now, more post cards will start to arrive. I hope so. I have two more ready to mail tomorrow if I do go out for a while. That depends on the weather.
It is supposed to be in the 50s F tomorrow, so that will be a nice change from the 14 degrees F we had last night. Sunday it’s supposed to be in the 60s F, so that will make it nice for me to go to my Christian meeting.
As I mentioned earlier this month, the first day of winter is the 21st of December this year. So, we still have a good three months of cold weather to endure.
I will be leaving soon for a week, to go to North Carolina to visit my son. I’m so hoping that the weather will be good for that week, especially the days I will have to travel to and from his house. I’m anxious to see what the forecast says for that week. It takes about 4 and 1/2 to 5 hours to drive there. My youngest son will take me half way and my oldest son will meet us and take me the rest of the way. Same thing when I come home. I just don't trust myself to drive that far anymore.

Yes I was so happy that I finally got an international post card. Today it's supposed to be much warmer. Minnesota temps today are ridiculous. 40 F below zero wind chill. Yikes! I just heard that on the weather channel.

Thanks. I'm really looking forward to going.. I just hope all goes as planned. The weather is always a concern this time of the year but it looks like it will be ok.

Glad your postcard arrived from Russia. I'm on postcrossing too and the last five I sent there expired without reaching their destination! That is so frustrating as it's not cheap to buy and post a card. Other countries are fine though, I love my postcrossing experiences.

It costs $1.25 for an international stamp here, no matter which country the post card is addressed to. I just purchased five stamps and I only have one left I have two post cards ready to mail tomorrow. I think all of the ones I have mailed so far have been registered. It's just been slow on my receiving any but I was glad to finally receive one.

Yes that's what I'm hoping. I'm keeping up on my end sending post cards at every opportunity. So there should be a constant stream from now on. It's exciting to me. I'm glad I found out about this site.
