He Didn’t Notice or Just Didn’t Comment ?

At 11:00 p.m. last Friday , 16th of December , after I received my office Christmas gift and the gift checks , I called my husband to fetch me already .
Wow , he begged off to just fetch me at 11:30 p.m. He said is having a bottle or two of beers with his former officemate .
And when I went inside the car when he finally fetched me , he was in a good mood (he always is , when he had a bottle or two of beers) . 
He didn’t notice my new blouse which he earlier forbid me to buy . 
I got what I prayed for , but I was a bit disappointed that he didn’t praise my new blouse and how I looked . 
And his wish of crispy pata , was turned into congee with lots of garlic , ox tripe and egg , because it's what he likes after having a beer or two .
And while eating , he looked at me , smiled , but didn't say anything .

Hehehe your blouse looks very nice (was it the one in the photo). He was too busy waiting for you to prepare his crispy pasta in congee =)

@toniganzon That's okay . Well, he forbid me when i arrived late from work and asked me where i went . I told him i looked for a new blouse for our Christmas part , but he was irked and told me i have lots of new beautiful blouses courtesy of his aunt who came from the US , and warned me not to buy any new one anymore but just choose from there .
But i have to buy a new one in sync with the theme of the party - black . But what i bought was white with black stripes but wore the fur coat his auntie lent me.

Actually , she and the GM (the one in red dress) has been to two other affiliate parties before going to ours at 10:00 p.m. , so she said she changed her high heels which was killing her already , into those rubber shoes .

Maybe he is wise? He noticed but did not want to start an argument as to why you bought the blouse when he didn't want you to buy it for some reason?

No, i know he noticed specially when we were in the restaurant , facing each ther on the table sharing stories . He is in a good mood , so he let t pass, as he scolded me three days before to not buy a new blouse anymore. ha ha ha

There are things my husband notices immediately and there are things that slip by unnoticed. It is probably better that he didn't notice your new blouse.
