Actually I want to give hand to my husband for our expenses. My eBay store also very dull these days and Im not getting orders since few days. Also I was not able to update the store even for few days because I was busy with shifting and all....
These days there are some problems with my husband's office work and he is not happy with his job. He always talking about resigning and starting an own business.
But I told him there is a risk of starting a business suddenly as we dont have any experience as well...Also Its not good to quit the job before we settle on something. Then we may lost both job and the business.
What do you think?

I agree with you, it is risky. It'd be nice to be our boss but with no experience - it is definitely risky especially you have two little ones.

@amandajay Your daughter can go to government schooling though right ?But you prefer to put her into private school so bills will add up.

better to start business with little amount then if it goes well he can resign,,,

@infatuatedbby its hard to enroll kids to government schools here... waiting lists,,,so many interviews, utility bill proofs of 5 years back as address proof... and so many documentation...blah blah.. so we enrolled her to an International school..hehe

My husband has a remodeling company and he works way more than he ever did when he worked for someone else and he doesn't make anywhere near what he did make. It's not as easy as people think being a business owner-it's really hard work, with not much pay for a long time.

Get a job outside the home if the associated childcare costs are not prohibitive.

Yes...why don't you both try to start your own business and once you start earning ask him to quit the job...
Leaving the job straightforward is not right.
He can hunt for a new job as well

It sounds like a big risk. Perhaps he could keep his job but start a business part-time and see if it is successful. It will also be something else to think about and maybe offer some hope while he is doing the job he hates.

I agree with you. I think it is a bit risk to quit his job and not have nothing. He needs to find another before he quits or work on his own business but keep his job at the same time until his own business is up and running and making money.
